I guess this is our final chance to have a discussion on this, so here goes.
Wikia have been quite against us going, and I have been thinking.. would we really be able to upkeep this site privately? I mean, this wiki would have "died" a few times if it wasn't for wikia (as you cannot delete it), even org.uk has times in the past came close to shutting down.
As well as this, Wikia comes with many of the things we need, templates, forums, chat, blogs..etc
I'm sure Wikia would agree to it if we had a full database dump to a new wikia site, and then requested this one to be locked (as we would simply be starting afresh on a new wikia). What do you guys think?
It's seems better for stability.
